With over 53 years of experience working as physiotherapists within elite sport, and with 6 of our current physio’s and sports rehabilitators still working with professional athletes, we wanted to give this area of our business a clearer focus.
We feel there are now thousands of people in the Northamptonshire area seriously invested in their performance. Whether that’s individual events such as triathlon, cycling, athletics, open water swimming, tennis or golf, or team sports such as rugby, football, cricket, or hockey, the people of Northamptonshire have a big connection with elite sport.
Our association with Northampton Saints RFC has given us the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to offer a unique service which many other physiotherapy and fitness experts simply can’t.
Since opening our doors in 2016, this has been our aim. We use the approach taken with our athletes in professional rugby, and apply this to our athletes in other professional sports.
More importantly, to provide this service to the amateur athlete/sportsperson who wants more out of their body and their chosen sport.
Performance enhancement is a term thrown around so much that it loses meaning. In our eyes, performance enhancement is to address any physical or psychological attributes that contribute to improved performance and ultimately achieving a defined goal.

We use our extensive knowledge of the body and the various demands that are placed upon it in different sports and activities to bring you PERFORMANCE PILATES.

Many people get confused with the concept of flexibility and MOBILITY. For most, they are the same thing, and involve sitting down and stretching various muscles for 30 seconds and then getting on with their training.
To Move4 MOBILITY is a session in itself.
